About

’m building a new faceless YouTube channel, focused on nostalgic car content (dangerous features, failed models, old gadgets, road trips, forgotten brands, etc.). I’m looking for a YouTube video editor to help me turn research + script into engaging 25–30 minute videos, 3–4 times per week. What the job looks like Long-form faceless videos (no host on camera) Topic examples: “20 DANGEROUS Car Features From The 1970s That Are Now BANNED” “25 Car Gadgets From The 1990s, Once Necessary, NOW Completely USELESS” “You Might Be Old… If You Remember These 20 Things In 1980s Cars” Style: documentary / list video with narration + b-roll, similar to America Before, A Bíblia Detalhada, etc. Style: documentary / list video with narration + b-roll, similar to channels like: America Before – https://www.youtube.com/@AmericaBefor I provide: video topic + angle script (and usually voiceover) You handle: editing the full video (25–30 min) selecting / syncing b-roll (stock footage, photos, archive clips and, when allowed, short segments from other YouTube videos) basic motion graphics (titles, lower thirds, simple on-screen text) music & sound design (royalty-free) exporting ready-to-upload file for YouTube (1080p) Important about b-roll sources & copyright Approx. 70% of the b-roll can come from other YouTube videos, and around 30% from external / stock platforms (Pexels, Storyblocks, etc.). When using clips from other videos, they must be: short segments (up to ~10 seconds from any single YouTube video and up to ~5 seconds from each external clip), combined, recut, overlaid with narration, text, zooms, cropping, etc., so the final result is transformative. You must have a basic understanding of YouTube copyright rules and policies (Content ID, strikes, fair use, reuse of other videos, etc.). Preference for editors who already work with: royalty-free / stock footage, Creative Commons / allowed content, and know what types of reuse are more likely to be flagged or receive strikes. I’m not looking for simple re-uploads; the final edit must clearly be a new, original, transformative video. Scope & timeline Test phase: 1–3 months Around 15–20 videos in this first contract Publishing 3–4 videos per week If we’re a good fit, this can turn into a long-term, ongoing collaborationWhat the job looks like Long-form faceless videos (no host on camera) Topic examples: “20 DANGEROUS Car Features From The 1970s That Are Now BANNED” “25 Car Gadgets From The 1990s, Once Necessary, NOW Completely USELESS” “You Might Be Old… If You Remember These 20 Things In 1980s Cars” Style: documentary / list video with narration + b-roll, similar to America Before, A Bíblia Detalhada, etc. I provide: video topic + angle script (and usually voiceover) You handle: editing the full video (20–30 min) selecting / syncing b-roll (stock footage, photos, archive clips and, when allowed, short segments from other YouTube videos) basic motion graphics (titles, lower thirds, simple on-screen text) music & sound design (royalty-free) exporting ready-to-upload file for YouTube (1080p) Important about b-roll sources & copyright Approx. 70% of the b-roll can come from other YouTube videos, and around 30% from external / stock platforms (Pexels, Storyblocks, etc.). Requirements Solid experience editing YouTube videos (please send examples) Comfortable with 25–30 minute list / documentary style content Strong sense of pacing, rhythm and storytelling Good use of b-roll and on-screen text to keep retention high Tools: Adobe Premiere Pro / Final Cut Pro / DaVinci Resolve (professional NLE) Basic audio mixing (voice + music + effects) Basic understanding of YouTube copyright / fair use / Content ID and how to avoid obvious strike risks Able to follow a style guide and keep branding consistent. Nice to have Experience with automotive / nostalgia content Ability to suggest visual ideas and improve pacing Basic thumbnail sense (not required, but a plus) How to apply Please include in your proposal: 2–3 links to YouTube videos you edited (preferably long-form, faceless, narration + b-roll). Your fixed price per 25–30 minute video. Your typical turnaround time for one video of this length. A short note telling me which part of this type of content you enjoy most (cars, history, nostalgia, etc.). I’m looking for someone reliable who wants to grow with the channel, not just edit one video and disappear. If that sounds like you, let’s work together. 🚗🕰️
