SUMMARY: I’m looking for a skilled video editor who can take my talking head videos to the next level by improving retention, storytelling, and overall viewer engagement WHILE keeping my unique editing style and brand identity consistent. My editing is already strong, so I’m not looking for someone to reinvent it, but rather to refine, polish, and enhance what’s already working. WHAT I'M LOOKING FOR: 1. Strong grasp of storytelling through editing (pacing, rhythm, and emotion are key) 2. Deep understanding of viewer retention tactics (e.g. dynamic cuts, audio cues, visuals that keep people watching). 3. Ability to learn and match my current editing style: fonts, sound FX, transitions, tone, and overall brand look. 4. Skilled at using music to support storytelling. 5. Comfortable taking feedback and direction, and iterating quickly to match my creative vision. SOFTWARE: ✅ You MUST edit in Final Cut Pro ✅ I’ll provide reference edits, style guides, and project files so you can learn the look and feel. ✅ Music must be sourced from Epidemic Sound (I have a subscription) DELIVERABLES: - 1–2 videos per week (depending on workflow). - Each video: 8–15 minutes (YouTube-focused).
