YouTube Football Editor, Shorts Repurposing & Community Specialist Rate: $110/week (fixed weekly contract) Type: Long-term role (probation first) About Us We manage two fast-growing football YouTube channels: FTGIntel (tactical, data-driven storytelling) and FromNothingToGlory (FNTG: cinematic, underdog storytelling). We’re scaling aggressively toward monetization and global fan engagement ahead of the FIFA 2026 World Cup. To support that growth, we need a dedicated football video editor & content repurposer who can also manage community engagement across our platforms. Responsibilities 1. Shorts Analysis & Posting Review past Shorts (FNTG + FTGIntel) and replicate what worked best. Post 5 Shorts daily (3 for FNTG, 2 for FTGIntel). Upload Shorts as Unlisted → reviewed and published by us. Each Short must include: • Branded TN • Yellow all-caps captions (consistent style) • Funnel CTA (“Want the full story? Watch the full video now.”) Repurpose your shorts for Facebook, LinkedIn, X, Instagram, and TikTok using Buffer. 2. Long-Form Edits 1 weekly fictional storytelling video (English, 10–15 min). Cinematic, engaging, copyright-safe. Deadline: Fridays at 6 PM EST. 3. Translations 2 long-form videos (Eng → French + Spanish) per week. 2 Shorts (Eng → French + Spanish) per week. Each translated version must include: • Accurate subtitles • Correct voiceover replacement • Translated thumbnails Deadlines: Tuesdays & Thursdays. 4. Community Engagement (New Role) Monitor and respond to comments on YouTube, FB, IG, and TikTok. Use a professional, positive, and fan-friendly tone at all times. Flag and escalate any problematic or high-value comments. Track audience questions and feedback for content ideas. Perform other community-related duties as assigned. 5. Weekly Workflow Mon–Fri: Post 5 Shorts daily (Unlisted + repurposed with Buffer). Tuesday: Deliver 2 long-form translated videos + 2 translated Shorts. Thursday: Deliver 2 long-form translated videos + 2 translated Shorts. Friday: Deliver 1 long-form fictional edit (English). Daily: Monitor/respond to comments across all channels. Sunday evening: Share Shorts analysis & next week’s proposed Shorts posting schedule. Requirements Proven football YouTube editing experience (long-form + Shorts). Experience repurposing Shorts into multi-platform content (FB, LinkedIn, IG, TikTok, X). Copyright-safe editing practices — zero tolerance for copyright strikes. Strong written English (friendly, fan-focused tone for community replies). Familiarity with Buffer or other schedulers. Reliable communication (daily Slack update by 2 PM EST). Trial Period Week 1 = Paid trial ($65) for 1 fictional edit + Shorts posting + community test. If performance is strong, consider extending to a weekly $110 contract. What We Offer Weekly pay + long-term growth if performance is strong. Opportunity to scale with us into FIFA 2026. Stable, ongoing assignments with clear deadlines. Chance to be part of a global football storytelling brand. To Apply: Share links to 2–3 of your best football YouTube edits (long-form + Shorts). Confirm experience with Buffer / cross-platform posting. Describe your experience managing online communities or responding to comments. Explain how you ensure copyright safety in your edits. Confirm ability to meet Tuesday/Thursday/Friday deadlines without delays. Attention: We’re not looking for short-term editors — only apply if you want to grow long-term with a football storytelling brand.
