We are seeking an experienced accountant/bookkeeper to clean up, organize, and standardize the financial records of a medium-sized software development company. The project includes establishing the correct accounting structure, importing historical financial data, reconciling all accounts, and preparing formal financial statements suitable for internal management reporting. Scope of Work Design a complete and scalable Chart of Accounts appropriate for a medium enterprise with multiple departments and cost centers Import historical financial data from spreadsheets and supporting documents into Xero Reconcile all accounts, including operating accounts, credit cards, vendor payments, and client receipts, ensuring alignment with bank statements Review and standardize categorization for accuracy, consistency, and compliance with accounting best practices Prepare monthly management-level financial reports, including: Income Statement Balance Sheet Cash Flow Statement Departmental or project-level summaries
