I have drafted my activities thus far as Personal Representative (Executor), of my father's estate, which you will incorporate into a legal written request to Harford County Orphans Court to extend the time to submit an inventory. The main reasons for the extension are: 1. The slow transfer of assets and authority: The Previous Personal Representative only Transferred personal belongings from her house to me as successor until August 13, 2025. Due to the slow payment of debts in accordance with the court order dated, the Court could not issue papers of administration to me until September 2025. I could not obtain a copy of the enclosed bank account until September 2025. The bank account was depleted with a zero balance when I became successor representative, and, therefore, every action take or planned is out of pocket, which would be a financial burden, cosidering what I spent thus far; however, last but not least is the condition of the property. I could not move forward with appraisal of real property and tangible property because appraisers need the road and equipment, tangible property cleared/dug-up, overgrowth removed, before they can assess the property. I took a risk/liability to gather necessary photographs from Thomas Walker Photography, a professional who was willing to take the risks of walking the property, overgrowth, through territory that was being taken over by hunters, to obtain the enclosed photographs. I am asking for an extension until April 2025, especially to get past the winter months to create access to the property. I have uploaded information I have typed so far. I also plan to enclose an expense sheet I have created, and will be finished by Wednesday. I need a first draft by November 6, 2025, and a final later than November 7, 2025 or sooner if time permits.
