I run a digital design and marketing agency and am looking for a reliable WordPress designer/developer for ongoing hourly work. All sites will be created using the Astra theme and the Spectra plugin. I will provide content, wireframes, example sites, and Loom videos explaining exactly what I want. Your role is to design, build, and update websites according to these instructions. This is a long-term, ongoing position. You will work on full site builds (typically 9 pages) as well as smaller updates or tweaks to existing client sites. Project Scope: Full website builds (average 9 pages) Updates, edits, and tweaks to existing WordPress sites Ensuring sites look great and work smoothly on mobile, tablet, and desktop Following provided wireframes, content, and example site styles What I Will Provide: Complete wireframes and written content for each page Loom/video walkthroughs with detailed instructions Example websites for reference Brand colors, logos, and other client assets Your Responsibilities: Build and update sites using WordPress with Astra and Spectra Create clean, modern, conversion-focused layouts Ensure full responsiveness across devices Follow best practices for spacing, typography, accessibility, and layout Communicate clearly and meet agreed-upon deadlines Follow instructions carefully and maintain attention to detail Requirements: Strong portfolio of WordPress websites Experience with Astra theme Experience with Spectra or similar block-based tools Ability to follow detailed written and video instructions Strong attention to detail Good communication and dependable availability Preferred but Not Required: Experience designing for service-based businesses Familiarity with conversion-focused layout and design Ability to add simple animations or micro-interactions Workload and Pricing: Hourly, with consistent ongoing work Typically 1 to 3 full builds per month plus smaller updates to existing sites Please provide your hourly rate and estimated hours for a standard 9-page website build When applying, please include: A link to your portfolio Examples of WordPress sites you have built (Astra preferred) Your hourly rate Your typical turnaround for a 9-page build How We Will Work Together: I close the deal with the client I provide content, wireframes, and a video walkthrough You build or update the website using Astra and Spectra We review, finalize, and deliver to the client You will not interact directly with clients.
