Overview We are seeking a highly skilled WordPress Expert (Designer/Programmer) for a full website redesign project. The ideal candidate has deep experience building top-tier, visually stunning, and high-performing websites in WordPress. This role is perfect for someone with a strong design eye, advanced WordPress development skills, and a proven portfolio of past work. We already have strong reference examples and will review them together during a video call to align on style and functionality. Project Scope & Deliverables Phase 1: Discovery & Strategy - Review current WordPress website and assess design, UX, and performance gaps - Discuss style, brand, and functionality goals with our team - Review example sites and define creative/technical direction Phase 2: Website Redesign & Development - Create a modern, responsive, and user-friendly WordPress design - Implement custom themes, plugins, and functionality as needed - Ensure SEO best practices, speed optimization, and mobile responsiveness - Integrate necessary tools (analytics, forms, e-commerce, etc.) Phase 3: Launch & Best Practices - Conduct QA testing across devices and browsers - Optimize performance and security - Provide team onboarding materials for content management - Offer recommendations for ongoing maintenance and scalability Final Deliverables - Fully redesigned WordPress website (responsive, optimized, and scalable) - Design mockups/wireframes (as needed for approvals) - Documentation for workflows and ongoing updates - Training/knowledge transfer session with our team Required Qualifications - 3+ years of hands-on WordPress design & development experience - Strong portfolio showcasing high-quality websites (design + technical execution) - Proficiency in WordPress theme customization, PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript - Strong design sense and UX/UI understanding - Experience with speed optimization, SEO, and responsive design.
