Responsibilities
- Deliver thorough, evidence-based primary care services to a predominantly adult patient population.
- Conduct comprehensive physical exams, including Pap smears, with precision and attention to clinical detail.
- Diagnose and manage common acute and chronic medical conditions using sound clinical judgment.
- Counsel patients on preventive care and overall wellness, offering practical, data-informed guidance.
- Provide timely and efficient care for urgent and same-day complaints typical in a primary care setting.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, medical assistants, and support staff to maintain smooth clinic operations.
- Review labs, imaging, and other clinical documents accurately and promptly.
- Complete charting within 72 hours in the electronic medical record to ensure continuity and clarity of care.
- See an average of 2–2.2 patients per hour (Walk ins & Appointments), maintaining quality and attention to detail for each encounter.
- Uphold the highest standards of professionalism and teamwork in patient and staff interactions
Schedule & Commitment
- Shift Hours: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM
- Schedule: Minimum of 4 weekend shifts per month (Saturday and/or Sunday)
- No on-call responsibilities
- Requirements
- · Valid and unrestricted Medical License in Maryland
- · Board Certification, if applicable
- · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- · Strong dedication to providing compassionate patient care
- · Ability to work effectively as part of a team
