Job Description We are seeking a skilled Web Developer with strong expertise in responsive design and JavaScript to enhance an existing website. The primary goal of this project is to make all sections of our current HTML site fully responsive, ensuring optimal performance and layout across mobile, tablet, and desktop devices. You will be working with existing HTML, CSS, and JavaScript code to implement responsive behavior — not building from scratch. The role requires a strong understanding of front-end best practices, mobile-first design, and browser compatibility. Responsibilities Review and analyze the existing website structure and code. Implement responsive design techniques to ensure all pages and sections adjust fluidly across screen sizes. Optimize layout, typography, and images for different devices (mobile, tablet, desktop). Use CSS Flexbox, Grid, and media queries to achieve responsiveness. Ensure cross-browser compatibility and smooth user experience across all major browsers. Test and debug responsive behavior on multiple devices and screen resolutions. Collaborate via GitHub, pushing all code changes and commits for review. Maintain clean, organized, and well-documented code. Requirements Proven experience with responsive web design and front-end development. Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+). Experience with media queries, Flexbox, and CSS Grid. Familiarity with Git/GitHub for version control. Understanding of cross-browser compatibility and web performance optimization. Ability to work locally on provided files and push changes to the repository. Strong attention to detail and an eye for design consistency. Preferred Qualifications Experience optimizing UI for both desktop and mobile experiences. Familiarity with modern front-end frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap, Tailwind CSS) is a plus.
