Job Summary:

The Warranty Financial Team Advocate is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely financial processing of warranty claims and related transactions. This role works with cross-functional teams, managing daily credit reconciliation, processing financial transactions, and providing technical support to internal stakeholders and customers. The position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and maintain accurate factory daily credits to ensure correct payment to customers and verify and process daily credits in a timely manner.
  • Receive and process purchase orders and perform weekly reconciliations to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Process and track third-party credits and compressor core credits, ensuring accurate payment to customers and vendors.
  • Review and process consumer buy-in credits, ensuring accurate payment to customers and the factory.
  • Analyze unavailable inventory reports, identify and resolve inventory discrepancies, and optimize inventory management processes.
  • Provide warranty-related support to the technical support team and customer-facing team and assist with warranty and financial inquiries.
  • Develop and deliver training to dealers and internal teams on warranty and financial processes and maintain training materials and documentation.
  • Perform weekly reconciliations, generate reports as needed, and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Requirements:

Requirements:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems (e.g., Infor, Salesforce, Servicebench, SAP)
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote environment with evolving business requirements

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in accounting, finance, or a related field
  • Experience in the HVAC industry or with warranty processes
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and financial analysis
