JOB OVERVIEW AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • The Warehouse Associate supports daily warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, order picking, staging, and inventory control. This role plays a key part in ensuring our contractor and dealer customers get the right products on time demonstrating our core values including dedication to excellence in customer service. This position will make local deliveries as well as a back-up driver.
  • Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment
  • Pick, pack, and stage customer orders for delivery or pickup
  • Receive, check, and stock incoming shipments
  • Maintain warehouse organization, cleanliness, and safety standards
  • Perform inventory counts and help resolve discrepancies
  • Loading/unloading trucks
  • Support branch staff and customers with professionalism and teamwork
  • Delivers product specified to various locations in a safe and efficient manner
  • Coordinates with management safe and efficient delivery route
  • Verifies with customer at time of delivery correct product delivered in satisfactory condition
  • Other duties as assigned

Day range

  • Monday to Friday

Shift

  • 8 hour shift
  • 8AM-5PM, with a one hour lunch break
  • Day shift

Pay

  • $20-$24/hr DOE ( plus bonus and benefits)
  • Requirements
  • High School diploma or GED
  • 2 or more yrs of warehouse
  • 2 or more yrs of delivery driver experience
  • Clean and Valid Driver's License with no restrictions
  • Forklift certification preferred
  • A plus if you have a current DOT physical card
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. (with equipment assistance)
  • Attention to detail and customer focus
  • Excellent attendance and strong worth ethic
  • Candidates must pass a pre-employment drug test and background check including a review of DMV records to ensure license is valid and motor vehicle history is clear.
