- SUMMARY
- Warehouse Associates support designated System by properly maintaining the quantity of available inventory, and materials in the warehouse. Ensuring that all Technicians have what is needed for each installation job.
- DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES
- Keep warehouse organized, clean and safe.
- Distribute necessary equipment and materials to Technicians on a daily basis or as needed.
- May periodically drive to other locations to receive new equipment and return used equipment.
- Inspect and properly disposition all equipment returned by Technicians.
- Monitor quantity of supplies to ensure adequate supplies of necessary parts, equipment or materials are on hand for the upcoming workload and supply levels as determined by senior management.
- Assist in locating equipment that appears as ‘charge backs’.
- Assist with maintenance and cleanup of grounds around building as needed.
- Follow all required company & OSHA safety rules.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Inventory Management: Ability to manage and track inventory accurately, including receiving, storing, and distributing cable products and equipment.
- Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of cable products, equipment, and materials commonly used in the industry.
- Order Fulfillment: Skill in picking, packing, and shipping accurately and efficiently.
- Safety Awareness: Awareness of safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment, including knowledge of proper handling and storage of materials.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift and move heavy items, as well as stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
- Attention to Detail: Precision in checking and verifying inventory quantities, product codes, and order details to minimize errors.
- Teamwork: Capacity to work collaboratively with colleagues in a fast-paced warehouse environment to meet deadlines and achieve objectives.
- Communication Skills: Effective verbal and written communication skills to interact with coworkers, supervisors, and possibly delivery personnel.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot issues related to inventory discrepancies, damaged goods, or shipment delays.
- Basic Computer Skills: Proficiency in using basic computer programs or warehouse management systems for inventory tracking and order processing.
- Time Management: Efficiently manage time to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities, work schedules, and job duties as needed in a dynamic warehouse environment.

- Communicate effectively with co-workers; verbal and written communication including internal e-mails.

- Ability to read and interpret operating instructions and procedures.
- Possess basic mathematical skills, capacity for making rational choices, understanding and the ability to resolve problems in standardized situations.
- Knowledge of computer systems and proprietary programs used for inventory management.
- Critical thinking and the ability to troubleshoot technical difficulties.
- Must be able to operate a forklift.
- EDUCATION / QUALIFICATIONS
- High School or GED preferred.
- Previous experience is preferred but not necessary, training will be provided.
- Proficiency with MS Word & Excel.
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
- Requires the successful completion of all pre-employment testing
- PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Must possess the ability to climb a ladder, stoop and regularly lift/carry up to 50 lbs., occasionally work at heights up to 15 FT.
- Wrap, pack and relocate materials on pallets.
- Ability to use manual and powered material handling equipment.
- Work performed indoors and on occasion, outdoors.
