  • You will be responsible for managing the design, development, release and maintenance of applications systems for business functions enterprise wide.   Additionally, you will be responsible for leading the group that provides the long-term planning, support, implementation and troubleshooting activities for the enterprise infrastructure environment.  Build, develop, and manage an organization of highly talented programmers, engineers and administrators with a span of technical and organizational process experience appropriate to support the company’s information requirements, business objectives, and future growth.  Anticipate IT industry direction and make recommendations to support current and future business needs and projects.
  • You will work closely with business analysts, business owners and other stakeholders to facilitate consensus on the model and direction for current and future IT tools that enable stakeholder access to information.

  • ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 
  • * Enterprise Application Architecture: Defining and documenting the structure, connections and relationships of business processes as part of the on-going IT development projects to ensure that applications meet the complex needs of the business groups and drive forward cost effective success.
  • * Enterprise Operations: Direct the operational teams in providing efficient and effective infrastructure support of the business through systems that deliver Email, data storage, network operations, voice communication, mobile device management, data center operations, disaster recovery planning.
  • * Provides leadership, a sense of urgency, teamwork, and professional development to the team.
  • * Maintain knowledge of key changes in available technology and presents options to the executive management team on ways to implement changes in technology to the advantage of the company.
  • * Plans and manages to the IT budget to ensure effective use of corporate assets.
  • * Directs the planning, implementation, and operation of internally developed and commercial systems to ensure their optimum operation and to achieve the required availability in support of the needs of the company.
  • * Develops a strong working relationship with peers within the business groups and with the executive team to ensure effective support of the business needs.
  • * Develops a strong working relationship with key vendors to ensure their support of the company as needed.
  • * Responsible for the on-going operation of all key internally developed systems with a focus on the key manufacturing, financial and engineering 7/24 operations.
  • * Agrees to abide by the established Approval Matrix.

  • REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: 
  • * Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business operations or engineering, or equivalent work experience.
  • * 8-10 years’ experience in running IT operations for highly complex, 7/24 business groups.
  • * 3-5 years’ experience in building and supporting software development efforts
  • * Knowledge of Sarbanes Oxley Act controls or JSOX equivalent
  • * Experienced in project management of large-scale systems and network infrastructure implementations.
  • * Minimum of 5 years’ experience in planning, organizing, and leading the work efforts of at least a 4-person IT based technical team.
  • * Experienced in managing annual budgets greater than $1M.
