Job Title: Virtual Real Estate Attorney – Creative Real Estate, Asset Protection & Leveraged Buyouts About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled Virtual Real Estate Attorney with a strong background in creative real estate law, asset protection strategies, and leveraged buyouts (LBOs). This fully remote role is ideal for an attorney who thrives on structuring innovative, non-traditional transactions while ensuring clients’ wealth and investments are safeguarded. You will advise real estate investors, entrepreneurs, and developers on complex deal structures that balance creativity, profitability, and long-term asset security. Responsibilities Provide legal counsel on creative real estate transactions, including seller financing, subject-to deals, wraparound mortgages, lease options, land contracts, and joint ventures. Structure and oversee leveraged buyouts in the real estate sector, ensuring compliance with financing, securities, and contract law while maximizing investment potential. Design and implement asset protection strategies, including entity structuring (LLCs, partnerships, trusts), liability shielding, and estate planning integrations. Draft, review, and negotiate purchase agreements, financing documents, operating agreements, and other contracts tailored to unique client needs. Advise clients on risk mitigation, taxation implications, and compliance with state, federal, and local real estate regulations. Support investors in navigating distressed property acquisitions, foreclosure alternatives, and other high-complexity transactions. Resolve disputes through negotiation and mediation to protect client interests and maintain deal integrity. Stay current on evolving trends in real estate financing, asset protection laws, and investment strategies. Qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and an active license to practice law in at least one U.S. state (multi-state licensing preferred). 5+ years of experience in real estate law, with significant focus on creative deal structures, investor representation, and financing strategies. Demonstrated expertise in asset protection planning and leveraged buyouts, particularly in the real estate sector. Strong track record in contract drafting, negotiation, and deal structuring for unconventional real estate investments. Excellent research, analytical, and communication skills; ability to explain sophisticated legal and financial concepts to non-lawyers. Proven ability to thrive in a virtual practice environment with exceptional time management and organizational skills. Preferred Skills Advanced knowledge of tax implications for creative deals, asset protection vehicles, and leveraged transactions. Experience advising high-net-worth clients, real estate investment groups, or private equity-backed real estate ventures. Familiarity with cross-border real estate transactions, offshore structures, or multi-jurisdictional asset protection planning.
