I am seeking a Virtual Assistant (VA) to support me in sourcing small business acquisition opportunities. The VA will be responsible for identifying businesses for sale, contacting listing owners or brokers, handling NDAs, and collecting key business documents. This role requires some communication skills, attention to detail, and experience with outreach or lead generation. Responsibilities Search business listing sites (e.g., BizBuySell, BizQuest, LoopNet, Flippa, Empire Flippers) based on my criteria. Reach out to business brokers or owners via email/phone to confirm if listings are still available. Handle and sign NDAs (using provided templates or broker NDAs). Collect fact sheets, financial summaries, and other available documents about the business. Maintain an organized record of all businesses sourced, NDAs signed, and documents received in a shared system (Google Drive, Airtable, or Notion). Provide me with a summary of each viable opportunity and connect me directly with the broker/owner once documents are obtained. Requirements Proven experience as a Virtual Assistant, preferably in lead generation, real estate wholesaling, or business acquisitions. Strong written and spoken English for professional communication. Ability to manage confidential documents (NDAs, financials). Comfortable using tools like Google Workspace, DocuSign, Airtable/Notion, and CRM software. Detail-oriented, proactive, and reliable. Preferred Skills Background in business broker outreach, mergers & acquisitions, or real estate deal sourcing. Experience with cold emailing or appointment setting. Familiarity with small business acquisition platforms. Workload & Compensation Part-time role (10–20 hours per week to start). Flexible hours, but must provide daily/weekly updates. Competitive hourly rate or fixed monthly retainer (to be discussed based on experience).
