We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Violin Teacher to join our music education team at Natomas Music Square. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about helping students grow musically and personally through private and/or small group instruction. This role involves creating engaging lesson plans, tailoring instruction to individual students, and fostering a positive, encouraging, and structured environment for learners of all ages.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Teach private and/or small group violin lessons to students ranging from beginner to intermediate levels
• Develop lesson plans tailored to individual learning needs and musical goals
• Encourage consistent practice habits and musical growth through positive reinforcement
• Prepare students for performances, or recitals, s needed
• Maintain clear communication with parents or guardians about student progress and scheduling
• Foster a safe, respectful, and inspiring learning environment for all students
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff for recitals and school-wide events
• Participate in occasional training, meetings, or community events hosted by the school

Qualifications and Requirements

• Proficiency in violin performance and instruction
• Prior teaching experience with children (preferred but not required – training can be provided)
• Bachelor's degree in Music or equivalent experience (preferred)
• Ability to work with students of various skill levels and learning styles
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable, punctual, and professional

Teaching day(s) and hours - Monday , Tuesday and Thurs from 3-8pm

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $26.66 - $30.98 per hour
