Description: We are a U.S.-based business that helps Vietnamese people living in the United States regain or confirm their Vietnamese citizenship. Many of our clients were born in Vietnam but lost all of their original paperwork (birth certificates, household registration, passports). We are looking for reliable partners located in Vietnam who can assist our U.S. clients and their families with: • Reissuing Vietnamese birth certificates (đăng ký lại khai sinh / trích lục khai sinh). • Assisting with citizenship confirmation or restoration through local authorities. • Working directly with People’s Committees (Ủy ban Nhân dân) in clients’ birthplaces. • Guiding families to prepare and notarize affidavits confirming birth and family details. • Obtaining and verifying supporting documents (family books, household registration records, etc.). • Coordinating with our U.S. office to provide updates and scanned copies of documents. Responsibilities: • Act as a local representative for our U.S. business in dealing with Vietnamese authorities. • Research and confirm the official requirements at local People’s Committees. • Support families in notarizing affidavits and preparing applications. • Submit and follow up on civil status re-issuance requests. • Provide timely updates and digital copies of all documents to our U.S. team. Qualifications: • Must be based in Vietnam (preferably near major cities/provinces with accessible government offices). • Native Vietnamese speaker with good English communication skills. • Experience with Vietnamese civil documents (birth certificates, hộ khẩu, nationality law). • Background in law, paralegal work, or administrative government procedures preferred. • Organized, detail-oriented, and responsive. Preferred Backgrounds: • Paralegals, legal assistants, or administrative professionals with experience in government paperwork. • Familiar with civil status law and procedures in Vietnam. • Experience helping overseas Vietnamese (Việt Kiều) regain documents or citizenship is a strong plus. Deliverables: 1. Step-by-step guidance for each client case. 2. Draft affidavit templates for families to notarize. 3. Assistance with submission and follow-up until documents are issued. 4. Regular updates and scanned records for our U.S. office. Budget: • Open to hourly or fixed-price contracts depending on experience. • This is an ongoing role as we work with many Vietnamese clients in the U.S. who need support in Vietnam.
