I’m looking for a talented short-form video editor who knows how to turn long-form podcast interviews into engaging vertical content for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts. This role is perfect for someone who loves storytelling through edits, understands what stops the scroll, and can create clean, compelling, high-retention clips that match each client’s brand voice and aesthetic. What You’ll Be Doing You’ll follow a simple four-step process for each client: 1. Clip Selection Pull 10–15 potential moments from long-form interviews (usually YouTube podcast appearances). These should be engaging, emotionally resonant, helpful, or funny — whatever fits the client’s vibe. 2. Final Clip Approval Share the selected clips with me and/or the client. Once they choose their favorites, those become the clips you edit. 3. Editing + B-Roll + Captions Turn each clip into a polished short-form video, including: • Vertical formatting (9:16) • Clean captions (auto or manual) • Relevant B-roll to enhance storytelling • On-brand pacing, music, and styling 4.
