About

Description: I’m building a faceless YouTube channel for my brand. Each week I’ll be producing educational and story-driven videos (8–12 minutes long), and I’m looking for a skilled editor who can make content engaging, cinematic, and binge-worthy. This post is for a short paid trial to evaluate style, pacing, and creativity. If successful, this will lead to ongoing weekly work. Trial Task Length: ~90 seconds (script provided below). Voice: Use your own voice or a stock AI voice for now (do not need to use my cloned voice at this stage). Deliverables: Edited video (MP4 or MOV, YouTube format). Add captions/subtitles. Include music, pacing, and visuals (stock footage, animations, or creative edits). Focus: Pacing, engagement, and creative storytelling. 💵 Payment Fixed price: $20 for the trial. I will select a few freelancers for the paid trial. If you prefer to showcase your style upfront, you may submit a short free sample using the script below — I will review these as well. 🎬 Trial Script (90 seconds) [Opening Hook] “In a world where everyone overshares on LinkedIn, Instagram, even Slack… the person who reveals the least often holds the most power. This is the hidden art of strategic silence.” [Case Study 1 – WWII Operation Fortitude] “During World War II, the Allies faked an entire invasion force — complete with inflatable tanks and false radio chatter. The goal? Convince Germany that D-Day would happen at Calais, not Normandy. It worked. Concealment wasn’t passive — it was an active weapon.” [Case Study 2 – Apple] “Fast forward to today. Apple is legendary for secrecy. Even employees don’t know the full product until launch day. The result? Every keynote feels like a cultural event. That’s the power of silence: it builds anticipation and dominance.” [Mini-CTA for Trial Cutoff] “So, here’s the question: in your career… are you oversharing your playbook, or keeping your edge hidden?” What I’m Looking For Creative editing that makes the video feel cinematic and professional. Pacing that keeps attention (no dead air, smart use of cuts). Effective use of visuals and captions to reinforce the script. Someone reliable who can work with me long-term. Next Steps: Submit your proposal with: A short note on your editing style and tools you use. Samples of past work (YouTube-style preferred). Confirm you’re open to the paid trial (or send a short free sample if you prefer). Looking forward to finding the right creative partner! Bonus Points: Experience with YouTube SEO (titles, descriptions, tags). Designing click-worthy thumbnails. Scheduling uploads and managing comments for organic growth. Helping optimize engagement strategies (community posts, Shorts, etc.).
