We’re currently seeking a dedicated Veterinary Assistant to join our team and help us deliver outstanding veterinary care every day. Job Summary: As a Veterinary Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our veterinary team and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations of the hospital. You’ll assist with patient care, handle administrative and cleaning duties, and help maintain a safe and comfortable environment for pets and their owners. Key Responsibilities: Assist veterinarians and technicians during exams, treatments, and procedures Safely restrain animals for exams and treatments Perform basic patient care including feeding, walking, and monitoring recovery Clean and sterilize exam rooms, equipment, and kennels Maintain accurate medical records and assist with data entry Support front desk operations including check-in, check-out, and scheduling Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients Maintain inventory and restock supplies Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required Previous experience in a veterinary or animal care setting is preferred Comfortable handling dogs and cats of all sizes and temperaments Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment A passion for animals and a commitment to their care Benefits: Competitive pay - $16.50 - $22 Health insurance, 401(k), PTO Opportunities for growth and development A supportive and inclusive team environment How to Apply: If you’re enthusiastic about animal care and enjoy being part of a collaborative team, we’d love to hear from you!
