Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Vacuum Sales Specialist to join our team. This role involves growing existing customer accounts, developing new business opportunities, and driving revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong sales & environmental services background, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to build relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow a portfolio of existing accounts to achieve sales targets by selling new lines of business.
- Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to expand the customer base.
- Build strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, customer success, product development) to ensure client satisfaction.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals to meet or exceed sales quotas.
- Stay up to date on industry trends and market conditions to identify potential sales opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions in CRM software.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Environmental Studies, or a related field (preferred but not required).
- Proven experience in sales, account management, or business development.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Background in Environmental Health & Safety (preferred but not required)
- Ability to work independently and manage 300+ client accounts.
- Experience using Salesforce and/or other CRM tools is a plus.
- Goal-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and always acting in a safe manner
- May visit 10-12 customer sites per day
- Manual labor on sites to completely fulfill customer needs
- Complete daily scheduled services, deliveries, and pickups in a timely manner
- Complete all required documentation and labeling
- Generate / collect leads from customers for new products and services
- Sell additional products and services into existing accounts
- Actively prospect for new accounts in assigned route
- Primary account ownership in assigned route
- Ensure customer satisfaction at time of service
- Follow all local, state (provincial) and federal compliance regulations and rules
- Safely operate vehicles in accordance with U.S. DOT, local, state (provincial) and federal requirements
- Safely observe all corporate operating guidelines and procedures
- Observe all company environmental health and safety operating guidelines
- Perform other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- Valid Class B CDL
- Obtain Hazmat and Tanker endorsements within 90 days of employment
- Use of various mobile devices
- Work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
- Perform physical functions per job requirements
- Successfully complete a background check, drug test, and physical, by position
- Per OSHA's Respiratory Protection standard, 29 CFR 1910.34, employees in positions requiring respirators are required to meet facial hair standards.
- Commercial driver experience
- Hazmat and Tanker endorsement
- Previous Hazmat experience
- Previous route driving experience
- Operate a manual transmission
