Seeking a Blender or UV mapping expert to prepare a log/pole OBJ file for endcap texturing and masking. The task involves modifying the UV map to ensure non-overlapping endcap islands and exporting a UV snapshot and alpha mask image. More details: **Title:** UV Endcap Islands + Mask for Log/Pole OBJ (Omniverse-Ready) **Description:** Looking for a Blender or UV mapping expert to prep my log/pole OBJ file for easy endcap texturing and masking. **Deliverables:** 1. Modify UV map so both pole/log endcaps are non-overlapping islands—each end circle forms its own UV space. Unwrap the cylindrical body as a separate UV island. Painting outside these islands should have no effect (pixel bleed/clipping is OK). 2. Export a UV snapshot image, clearly showing where each endcap island is in UV space. This lets me paint custom images for each endcap and confirm island placement. 3. Produce an alpha/opacity mask image matching the UVs (same size as the texture): white for each endcap island, black for all else. Used for transparency/masking in Omniverse, so I can reveal/hide ends as needed. **Use Case:** I’ll swap in photoreal images or “tree ring” art for the endcaps, with the rest of the pole masked, in Omniverse. **Extra:** Let me know if you need my OBJ, or if you suggest Blender/UV tool/guides for future edits.
