Scope of Work Draft and review motions, complaints, and petitions Assist with appellate briefs, writs, and responses Review affidavits, declarations, and supporting exhibits Ensure compliance with procedural and formatting requirements Provide feedback and recommendations to strengthen legal arguments Requirements Background in litigation support, appellate practice, or paralegal work Experience preparing documents for pro se litigants or small firms Strong knowledge of court formatting and filing standards Ability to explain findings and suggestions clearly in plain language Prior Upwork experience and positive reviews preferred Deliverables Court-ready drafts or reviewed legal documents tailored to the case Written feedback highlighting strengths, weaknesses, and compliance issues Suggested revisions to improve clarity and persuasiveness This role requires precision, attention to detail, and a commitment to confidentiality.
