I’m looking for a reliable and fast-moving developer to refactor the frontend of my existing web app using a cleaner design I've created with Onspace. The backend is already live, running on DigitalOcean, and has real user data - we're not starting from scratch. This project is past the early stages. We're approaching MVP, and I need someone who can ship quickly, communicate clearly, and follow through. What’s Already Done: Live web app hosted on DigitalOcean with backend and real user data working UI and core flows are functional but need design improvement A cleaner version of the UI has been built using Onspace (React + Tailwind + shadcn/ui) - this will serve as a visual reference only Backend supports job creation, quoting, timers, and status updates What You’ll Do: Frontend Refactor (Design Upgrade) Rebuild or refactor the existing UI using React and Tailwind, based on the Onspace version Maintain all current logic and backend connections Ensure the site is responsive across devices Stripe Integration Implement Stripe Connect and Checkout Handle referral fee logic, secure payouts, and onboarding Ensure the full end-to-end payment flow works smoothly Minor Backend Integration Work Connect frontend updates like job requests, quotes, and status changes with existing APIs You will work with the current DigitalOcean-hosted backend (no backend rebuild required) Final Testing and Deployment Test user flows, fix bugs, and ensure stability Help with deployment or migrating the updated frontend to production Tech Stack: Frontend: React, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, shadcn/ui Design Reference: Onspace prototype Backend: Existing backend on DigitalOcean (likely Node.js or similar) Database: Already in place Payments: Stripe Connect and Checkout Ideal Candidate: Experienced with React, Tailwind, and Stripe integration Understands how to improve an existing product - not just build from scratch Communicates clearly and frequently Able to move quickly and independently Timeline: I’m ready to start immediately. The goal is to launch the updated UI and Stripe integration as soon as possible.
