Project Overview Our application is built with TypeScript and needs to be properly configured and deployed to Firebase. Additionally, we have some issues with the current API calls that are preventing the app from functioning as intended. We need a developer who can quickly diagnose and resolve these issues to ensure our application is ready for launch. Responsibilities Firebase Configuration & Deployment: Take our existing application code and correctly configure it for deployment on the Firebase platform. This includes setting up hosting, functions, and any other necessary Firebase services. API Call Correction: Analyze and debug existing API calls within the TypeScript codebase. You'll be responsible for identifying why they are failing and rewriting or adjusting the code to ensure they function correctly and securely. Code Review: Perform a brief review of the relevant codebase to understand the existing structure and dependencies. Documentation: Provide a brief summary of the changes made and the deployment process for future reference. Required Skills & Experience Strong proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript. 💻 Proven experience with Firebase, including Firebase Hosting, Firestore, and Cloud Functions. Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and how to properly make and handle API calls. Experience debugging and troubleshooting code. Familiarity with Git for version control.
