JOB SUMMARY The Treasury Management Sales Officer is responsible for acquiring deposits and expanding operating business by converting prospects into new client relationships and cultivating growth within existing accounts. They collaborate closely with Commercial Bankers, Relationship Managers, Retail Banking personnel, and Lending staff to deliver Vantage Bank’s comprehensive suite of Treasury Management solutions and oversee client relationships within an assigned portfolio. The Treasury Management Sales Officer will engage stakeholders across all levels of the bank and gain a deep understanding of client needs, challenges, and objectives, enabling them to deliver solutions that maximize the value of the company’s working capital. ESSENTIAL DUTIES The duties listed below may not include all responsibilities that the person in this role may be asked to perform. Incumbent may be required to perform other related duties as assigned. Collaborates across the Vantage Bank organization to identify and develop opportunities for Treasury Services solutions and deposit growth. Builds and leads cross-functional teams to address complex client needs and deliver tailored solutions. Enhances the sales process by leveraging industry trend analysis, product innovation, and consultative relationship reviews. Implements strategic, market-based sales plans to engage prospects and expand relationships with existing clients. Meets annual performance goals related to new business acquisition, call activity, revenue growth, client retention, and profitability. Drives growth in both non-interest income and deposit interest income. Maintains an accurate, timely, and well-managed sales pipeline. Serves as a representative of Vantage Bank and Treasury Services in both internal and external forums. Provides input into product development by sharing market insights, client feedback, and balanced business perspectives. Coaches and develops bank employees to strengthen their knowledge of Treasury Management services and support business growth. Builds and sustains strong relationships with key internal partners and support staff. Upholds the highest standards of confidentiality regarding company and client information. Maintains up-to-date knowledge of, and consistent compliance with, applicable regulations and bank policies, including Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) requirements. Other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS These specifications are general guidelines based on the minimum experience normally considered essential to the satisfactory performance of this position. Bachelor's degree required, Business or related field preferred. 5+ years of banking experience required, prior experience as a Branch/Banking Center Manager strongly preferred. 1-3 years of Treasury Management experience a plus. Establishes working relationships with clients/prospects and colleagues with an ability to articulate ideas and solutions. Ability to work independently and have a strong acumen for business and relationship development. Ability to generate ideas to identify and drive the development of new business. Effective selling and negotiation skills. Excellent verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal communication skills. Strong time management, organizational, planning skills and customer skills. Ability to mobilize internal networks and resources. Excellent PC skills, including word processing and spreadsheets via Microsoft Office products, Adobe Pro and other custom applications and systems. Strong cultural sensitivity and awareness. Knowledge of credit and operational risk-ability to quantify potential exposure and advise the team. Ability to create proformas and understand formulas involved in analysis. Prepare and ensure proper execution of onboarding documentation for Treasury Management solutions to clients/prospects. Create presentations, reports, collateral review and design, product review and enhancements, portfolio, revenue, profitability, pricing, and other duties as requested. Excellent presentation skills to develop customized presentations for internal and external use. Provides client support and product knowledge in relation to treasury management services. Responsible for problem solving, and resolution of treasury management issues with prospects and clients. BANK SECRECY ACT (BSA) All employees of Vantage Bank Texas, herein referenced to as the “Bank”, must comply with the terms of the BSA Policy upon acceptance of this position. The primary responsibility for enforcement of this policy and its operating procedures rests with the BSA/AML/OFAC Officer.
