As part of their continued expansion, they are looking to hire a driven and results-oriented Freight Sales Representative to help grow their brokerage division and build long-lasting customer relationships.
- This role is ideal for a competitive, self-starting professional with a solid understanding of freight brokerage and transportation logistics. The Freight Sales Representative will be responsible for both generating new business and nurturing existing accounts.
- Success in this position requires someone who can thrive in a fast-paced, team-driven environment while independently managing a full sales cycle, from lead generation to account retention.

Responsibilities
- Identifying and targeting potential customers.
- Developing and maintaining client relationships within the assignment.
- Understanding client needs and proposing solutions.
- Preparing sales proposals and pricing quotes.
- Managing accounts through the sales cycle from initiation to onboarding.
- Achieving sales objectives through effective strategies.
- Collaborating with operations to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Monitoring market trends and competitor activities.
- Using CRM software for sales management and reporting.
- Leading or assisting in account reviews.
- Monitoring competitors.
- Analyzing market trends.
- Attending meetings and trade shows.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree is preferred.
- Experience in transportation sales or related fields.
- Strong understanding of the LTL industry
- Proven sales skills especially in carrier or 3PL.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Capacity to build relationships.
- Analytical mindset.
- Negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Familiarity with transportation and customer management systems.
