What You Will Achieve In this role, you will be responsible for leading teams, managing technology and financial resources, and driving operational success. Compliance is critical, and you’ll ensure strict adherence to Standard Operating Procedures, batch records, Current Good Manufacturing Practices, and plant protocols. When equipment issues arise, you’ll lead investigations, implement corrective and preventive actions, and maintain clear communication to prevent future occurrences. How You Will Achieve It Day to day management of the shop floor schedule. Ensuring all processes are completed in a manner meeting safety and quality requirements. Managing the daily operation ensuring that applicable safety guidelines and policies are followed; observing that cGMP’s are followed, production SOP’s are upheld, and production schedules are met. The supervisor will work with the team to define metrics and strategy to achieve results. Responsible for assisting in the implementation of lean management principles on the shop floor. Coach and mentor to transform team into a cohesive, harmonized team. Responsible for counseling colleagues to assure proper development for their success, and to provide corrective action when necessary. Responsible for ensuring timely performance feedback and appraisals for all team members. Must demonstrate personal leadership initiative, judgment and accountability in day-to-day work activities in addition to strong planning/organizational skills. Must possess strong communication skills and demonstrate integrity and cooperation in working with diverse colleagues/groups. Qualifications Must-Have High school diploma with 8+ years, associate’s degree with 6+ years, BA/BS with 2+ years, or MBA/MS with relevant experience. Proven record of problem-solving and decision-making skills Demonstrated application of process improvement tools Strong people management experience Effective written and oral communication skills Experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing or a related field Ability to manage multiple projects and ongoing work activities Nice-to-Have Strong leadership capabilities Experience with regulatory compliance and quality assurance Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies Ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams Ability to mentor and develop direct reports Ability to foster a culture of safety and continuous improvement PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS Job will include standing, walking, and sitting. Occasional lifting may be required. Candidate must possess flexibility to respond to constantly changing conditions and priorities. NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS Job will also entail occasional weekend, shutdown and holiday coverage.
