We’re seeking a Residential Escrow Operations Manager to oversee branch operations, mentor leaders, and champion process improvements across our organization.
  • Position Summary
  • The Residential Escrow Operations Manager directly supervises Branch Managers and serves as Sun Title’s subject matter expert in residential escrow. This leader provides advanced support to Branch Managers and Full-Service Escrow Officers, designs and delivers training programs, and oversees quality assurance to ensure compliance and operational excellence. The Manager is ready to back up branch leadership and escrow staff as needed and works closely with Branch Managers and the Title Success Manager to drive process improvements, resolve title-related issues, and deliver exceptional service to referral partners and their customers.
  • What You’ll Do
  • Leadership & Team Development
  • Lead, mentor, and develop Branch Managers and their teams, promoting engagement and growth.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching and feedback.
  • Serve as a resource for escalated issues and complex residential escrow transactions.
  • Step in to back up Branch Managers and Escrow Officers when needed; maintain readiness to assume operational responsibilities at any branch.
  • Operational Excellence
  • Ensure consistent workflows and customer service standards across all branches.
  • Review and approve branch budgets and KPIs in collaboration with Branch Managers.
  • Partner with the Executive Team to optimize processes and resource utilization.
  • Training & Development
  • Design and deliver comprehensive training programs for new and experienced escrow staff.
  • Develop training materials, manuals, and online resources; lead workshops and sessions.
  • Monitor training effectiveness and adjust programs based on outcomes and feedback.
  • Quality Assurance & Compliance
  • Implement and maintain quality assurance processes aligned with company policies and industry standards.
  • Conduct regular escrow file audits to validate accuracy and completeness.
  • Stay current on regulatory changes; guide staff on compliance and risk management.
  • Collaborate with legal counsel to prevent/mediate claims and meet regularly with underwriters.
  • Financial Management
  • Prepare financial reports and forecasts related to escrow activities.
  • Review branch expenses, KPI progress, and budgets.
  • Sales Strategy Enablement
  • Collaborate with Sales Leadership to deploy internal and external sales strategies.
  • Support Branch Managers & Escrow Officers in retaining and attracting referral partners.
  • Attend/host networking, continuing education, and industry events.
  • Collaboration & Communication
  • Work closely with Branch Managers and the Title Success Manager to improve processes and resolve title-related issues.
  • Participate in cross-functional meetings and manager forums to address goals, issues, and market changes.

  • Required Skills & Abilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication in English.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and time management; strong follow-through on deadlines.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook) required.
  • Intermediate proficiency in title industry software (e.g., ResWare, ProForm Select) preferred.
  • Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field preferred.
  • 6+ years related title insurance/escrow industry experience preferred.
  • 3+ years leading a team preferred.
  • Advanced, hands-on knowledge of residential title, real estate transactions, and escrow services required.
  • Proven experience in training and quality assurance strongly preferred.
  • Licenses
  • Michigan Title Producer’s License (or ability to obtain within 1 month of hire).
  • Notary Public License (or ability to obtain within 1 month of hire).
