SUMMARYWe are seeking a highly skilled Tier 3 Microsoft Network and Windows Engineer with extensive experience in managed service provider (MSP) environments. This senior-level role is ideal for a dynamic, hands-on professional with a strong foundation in Microsoft technologies, deep network infrastructure knowledge, and a proven track record in systems architecture, project delivery, and enterprise support.
As a key technical leader, the successful candidate will play a vital role in high-level troubleshooting, solution design, and project execution, while also contributing to the growth of our engineering team through mentorship and future leadership opportunities.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serve as the Tier 3 escalation point for complex Microsoft and network infrastructure issues.
- Design and implement Microsoft-based IT architectures and network environments across enterprise environments.
- Lead and execute IT infrastructure projects, from scoping and planning to deployment and documentation.
- Administer and maintain Windows Server environments, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and related technologies.
- Troubleshoot enterprise-level issues involving network connectivity, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and more.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, clients, and vendors to deliver robust and scalable IT solutions.
- Provide mentorship and potentially lead a growing team of engineers.
- Participate in on-call rotations and accommodate off-hours work as required by project or client needs.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 10–15 years of relevant experience in IT infrastructure roles, with at least 5 years in an MSP environment.
- Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange, Microsoft 365, and Azure technologies.
- Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, including firewalls, switches, VPNs, and routing protocols.
- Demonstrated experience in solution architecture, technical project leadership, and operational support.
- Proven ability to handle escalations, lead root cause analyses, and design preventive measures.
- Excellent documentation, communication, and client-facing skills.
- Leadership potential and interest in managing and scaling technical teams through organic growth and acquisition.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Should be willing to accept a long-term work-from-home arrangement.
- Should be amenable to a permanent night shift schedule.
