Facilitators represent a L&D company, delivering evidence-informed workshops rooted in trauma-informed principles designed to promote resilience, self-awareness, and personal growth. Materials and curriculum are proprietary and will be taught to facilitator. Compensation: $70-$100 per hour Location: In-Person (varies by client) Client Demographic: adolescent to adulthood Engagement Type: Contract/Consultant Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable Therapeutic Workshop Facilitator to lead engaging and impactful workshops for social service agencies and private companies. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of therapeutic language, personal development, and mental wellness concepts, along with the ability to present information effectively to diverse audiences. Responsibilities: - Facilitate interactive workshops on topics related to self-discovery, resilience, goal setting, mental wellness, and personal growth. - Adapt workshop content to fit the needs of varied audiences, including youth, professionals, and older adults. - Use therapeutic language appropriately to create a safe and inclusive learning environment. - Engage participants through discussions, exercises, and real-world applications. - Maintain professionalism while delivering content in an approachable and relatable manner. - Provide post-workshop resources and guidance to help participants implement what they’ve learned. Consultants must be available for pre-session planning calls and post-session feedback debriefs (typically 30 minutes each). Qualifications: - Basic knowledge of therapeutic concepts (mental health, emotional intelligence, self-care, mindfulness, etc.). - Strong public speaking and presentation skills. - Experience working with diverse populations, including youth and adults. - Ability to adapt content to meet the needs of different audiences. - Background in social work, psychology, coaching, education, or a related field is a plus. - Comfortable facilitating both in-person and virtual workshops. Schedule & Availability: - Most workshops will take place in the evening between 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM. - One-day workshops are 5 hours long, running from morning through mid-afternoon. - Workshop series consist of five 90-minute sessions scheduled over multiple weeks. - Candidates should have flexible availability to accommodate these timeframes. Training & Onboarding: - Facilitators will receive an overview of workshop content and structure before leading sessions. - Access to training materials, session guides, and participant handouts will be provided. - Ongoing support and feedback will be provided to ensure facilitators feel confident in delivering content. This position is a 1099 independent contractor role. Facilitators are responsible for their own equipment, taxes, and insurance coverage.
