Our close-knit team thrives on collaboration and a shared commitment to delivering high-quality solutions for our customers. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Technician to join our Data Preparation team and contribute to our ongoing success. As a Data Preparation Technician, you will play a critical role in supporting the photomask manufacturing process and engineering development. You will be responsible for preparing mask data for both new and existing plate development, working closely with internal teams and external partners. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on technical work in a collaborative, small-team environment. Requirements/Qualifications: 4+ years of experience in the semiconductor industry; photolithography experience is a plus Solid understanding of wafer or mask manufacturing processes Experience with Linux and ability to learn and use new software (such as CATS for data fracture) Attention to detail and ability to keep accurate records Ability to create and update documentation related to mask data preparation Competence in Microsoft Office, especially Excel Strong communication and teamwork skills Self-motivated, able to work independently, and manage multiple tasks Travel Time: No Travel Physical Attributes: Bending at Waist, Carrying, Climbing, Crawling, Crouching, Feeling, Foot Controls, Handling, Hearing, Kneeling, Lifting, Other, Pulling, Pushing, Reaching, Seeing, Stooping, Talking, Works Alone, Works Around Others Physical Requirements: 100% inside, normal business hours Microchip Technology Inc is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
