We are looking for a detail-oriented Technical SEO & Website Specialist to optimize website performance, fix technical issues, and ensure a smooth and search-engine-friendly experience across all client sites. Role Overview: We’re seeking an experienced professional who can dive into the technical aspects of websites, particularly WordPress, and implement SEO best practices. You will work on improving site speed, resolving errors, cleaning up backend issues, and optimizing overall website health. Responsibilities: Perform technical SEO audits on client websites. Identify and fix 404 errors, broken links, redirect issues, and other crawl errors. Optimize website speed and performance (desktop and mobile). Clean up WordPress backend, including plugins, databases, and unnecessary files. Implement SEO best practices in website structure, schema, and metadata. Collaborate with content and marketing teams to ensure technical SEO is aligned with overall strategy. Monitor website performance and provide actionable recommendations. Requirements: Proven experience with technical SEO, especially on WordPress sites. Strong understanding of site speed optimization and performance tools (PageSpeed Insights, GTmetrix, Lighthouse, etc.). Familiarity with Google Search Console, Bing Webmaster Tools, and other SEO monitoring tools. Experience fixing 404 errors, redirects, canonical issues, and other technical SEO challenges. Knowledge of website structure, HTML, CSS, and basic PHP is a plus. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills and ability to work independently. Preferred Skills: Experience with SEO plugins for WordPress (Yoast, RankMath, etc.). Understanding of structured data/schema markup. Experience with website migrations and server-level optimizations.
