  • Job Description
  • We are seeking a Tech Lead to guide a team of experienced Software Engineers, ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality solutions. You will serve as the main SPOC for the Product Owner and Development Team, translating business requirements into actionable technical solutions and driving their implementation.
  • In this role, you will collaborate closely with other Technical Leads across IT Telephony and other domains to ensure alignment, adoption of best practices, and seamless solution delivery.
  • Our client is a global provider of home security devices. The Tech Lead will define the technical direction, lead the Development team, and oversee the design and development of integration layers for Genesys Cloud and other client systems.

Responsibilities

  • Lead technical solutions and guide software development teams.
  • Translate business requirements into actionable technical solutions and ensure their implementation.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of the software within your domain, performing updates or changes as needed.
  • Build and manage the technical debt backlog, prioritizing tasks with the Product Owner to ensure timely delivery.
  • Oversee the full software development lifecycle, ensuring smooth deployment to production.
  • Validate software designs, including archetypes, design patterns, and code quality standards (e.g., Sonar rules)
  • Monitor and manage software development team performance.
  • Partner with the Product Owner to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements.
  • Work with the Platform Technical Lead and the Architecture team to validate high-level architecture design
  • Collaborate with the Scrum Master and Ways of Working (WoW) team to align with company methodologies.
  • Cooperate with Service/Maintenance, QA teams, and developers to continuously reduce and prevent production bugs.
  • Qualifications
  • 6–10 years in software engineering with proven leadership in technical solution design
  • Languages: English and Spanish (minimum B2).
  • Knowledge of contact center technologies, particularly Genesys Cloud, is a plus.
  • Strong experience with Java and Spring-related technologies.
  • Proven experience with REST- and SOAP-based APIs.
  • Knowledge of front-end technologies: JavaScript and Angular (to coordinate full-stack solutions and understand API consumption).
  • Familiarity with Multichannel integrations: Experience with bots (Chat, WhatsApp, etc.) and Dialogflow CX is a plus.
  • Experience with Bitbucket, Jenkins, Sonar, Git.
  • Hands-on experience with Eclipse, IntelliJ IDEA.
  • Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and microservices architecture.
  • Knowledge of RDBMS such as Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server, and Sybase.
  • Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and practical Scrum experience.

  • Familiarity with Node.js and .NET development.
  • Knowledge of Kafka.
  • Experience with Visual Studio Code and Oracle SQL Developer.
