Role Description

Come and join the Handtools BU and make the difference and impact on our fast growing business. As Team-lead (m/w/d) Product Management Handtools, you and the team will drive the product-portofolio strategy for the Business Unit Handtools.

  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of product managers to achieve their full potential and deliver outstanding results.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy that aligns with the BU Handtools vision and goals.
  • Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
  • Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to launch till phase out, covering all country and channel requirements.
  • Create business and product generation plans for strategic at country and channel level.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, brand and sales, operations, to ensure alignment and successful product execution.
  • Advocate for the customer by incorporating feedback and insights into product enhancements and new features.
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success from a topline and profitability point of view.
  • Drive continuous process improvement to free up time on what really matters.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Several years of experience in product management in durable goods and/or FMCG.
  • Several years of experience in a leadership role is a must.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • International experience and proven leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Familiarity with product management tools and methodologies, on pricing, new product development.
  • Ability to identify and resolve complex problems, driving innovative solutions.
  • Passion for understanding and meeting customer needs and delivering exceptional user experiences.
  • Business fluent in German and English; French is a bonus.
  • Willingness to travel to markets or visit factories/suppliers.
