Project Overview We are building a global directory of elite tattoo artists and need a highly detail-oriented researcher to help us collect accurate information about artists from around the world. Some artists already exist in our spreadsheets but are missing key fields, while others only have an Instagram screenshot or name available. Your job will be to find accurate information and input each field into our spreadsheet with 100% precision. This role is perfect for someone who: Enjoys online research and detective-style data gathering Is extremely accurate and careful with data entry Follows structured SOPs without deviation Communicates clearly and works efficiently Takes pride in delivering error-free work What You Will Be Doing You will research each tattoo artist and fill in the following details into our spreadsheet: Required Fields Artist full name Shop name Shop address City / State / Region Country Email address Artist or shop website Phone number Instagram URL Primary tattoo style(s) (e.g., realism, blackwork, watercolor, neo-traditional, geometric, etc.) Two URLs of the artist’s best tattoo work (following our SOP) Tattoo Style Knowledge Required You must be familiar with common tattoo styles — or be willing to learn quickly using the resources we provide. Accurately identifying an artist’s primary style(s) is a required column in the spreadsheet. Examples include: Realism / Color Realism Black & Grey Neo-Traditional Watercolor Japanese / Irezumi Ornamental / Geometric Fine Line Illustrative Surrealism And similar major categories We will provide reference materials if needed, but you must be confident identifying styles while reviewing an artist’s work. Photo URL SOP We have an SOP you will follow to correctly gather the photo URLs for the artist’s best work. You must follow this process exactly to ensure consistency. Accuracy Matters This job requires 100% accuracy in: Spelling & formatting Addresses & contact info Matching the correct artist to the correct shop Correctly identifying tattoo styles Following the image URL SOP exactly Incorrect data disrupts our system — only apply if you take accuracy seriously. We have hundreds of artists to research and new lists each month.
