Where You Can Make an Impact
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, ensuring consistent quality and presentation.
- Engage with guests to provide recommendations, answer questions, and create a welcoming atmosphere.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, including specialty cocktails, wine, and beer, to assist guests effectively.
- Follow recipes and accurately measure ingredients to craft signature and classic cocktails.
- Monitor inventory levels and notify supervisors of shortages or restocking needs.
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately, ensuring proper reconciliation at the end of each shift.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
- Collaborate with lounge staff to provide seamless service and support team goals.
- Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction.
- Properly ID customers.
- Stay informed of current beverage trends and suggest ideas for enhancing the lounge menu.
- Requirements
Education/Formal Training
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bartending certification preferred.
Experience
- Minimum of 1-2 years of bartending experience in a lounge or upscale setting preferred.
Knowledge/Skills
- Strong knowledge of mixology, wine, and craft beer.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills to engage with guests effectively.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with point-of-sale (POS) systems and cash handling procedures.
- Commitment to maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
