Job Description Beyond Meat is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Supply Planner to join our Supply Chain team. In this role, you will be responsible for translating demand forecasts into executable supply plans, managing inventory across our distribution network, and ensuring production continuity by aligning supply with demand. As a key contributor to our planning process, you will maintain ERP planning parameters, collaborate with manufacturing and procurement teams, and proactively identify and mitigate supply risks. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical skills with a deep understanding of planning systems and supply chain dynamics. You are comfortable working with data, communicating cross-functionally, and continuously looking for ways to improve service levels, reduce excess inventory, and optimize the end-to-end planning process. TASKS, DUTIES, & GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES Production Planning Develop detailed production schedules to support the overall supply plan. Coordinate with internal and external manufacturing partners to align production capacity with business needs and operational constraints. Assess and communicate risks to finished goods availability; lead root cause investigations and implement corrective/preventive actions to mitigate future disruptions. Maintain and optimize ERP planning parameters (e.g., lead times, lot sizes, safety stock) to improve system-driven planning accuracy and reduce reliance on manual data modeling. Partner closely with operations, procurement, logistics, quality, and customer service to ensure seamless execution of production plans and resolution of operational issues. Demand and Supply Alignment Translate demand forecasts into executable supply plans that balance customer service levels, inventory targets, and manufacturing capacity. Manage the supply handoff during monthly and annual planning cycles; escalate unresolved constraints or risks through the S&OP process for cross-functional resolution. Conduct scenario planning to assess the impact of demand or supply variability, inventory strategies, and capacity shifts; provide actionable recommendations to stakeholders based on risk and opportunity analyses. Inventory Planning & Optimization Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels of WIP and finished goods across the distribution network to support service goals while minimizing excess. Review and revise safety stock settings regularly for all finished goods, ensuring appropriate buffers by location based on demand variability, lead times, and service level targets. Other Responsibilities Complete special projects and strategic analyses as assigned by leadership, including cost-saving initiatives, network modeling, or cross-functional process improvements. Support continuous improvement efforts related to planning tools, system enhancements, and best practice adoption. Contribute to team training, documentation, and knowledge sharing to support planning process standardization and capability building. QUALIFICATIONS Education, Technical Skills, and/or Previous Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Industrial Engineering, or related field. 5-6 years of experience in supply planning, production planning, or materials planning (CPG manufacturing preferred). Experience with ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) Strong proficiency in Excel and data analysis; ability to work with large datasets and generate actionable insights. Familiarity with S&OP or IBP processes. Solid understanding of inventory management principles and planning metrics (e.g., forecast accuracy, service level, inventory turns). Excellent communication and collaboration skills; ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment. Highly organized with a proactive, problem-solving mindset and attention to detail. APICS or other supply chain certification a plus (CPIM, CSCP) Strong mathematical or statistical knowledge Skilled in Microsoft Office Detailed oriented Ability to work collaboratively and to manage a wide variety of projects with tight deadlines WORK ENVIRONMENT HQ-based position in El Segundo, CA Limited travel may be required **Annual salary commensurate with experience** The starting annual base pay for this role is between USD $105,000 and $120,000. The actual base is dependent upon many factors, such as training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands.
