- We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Supply Chain Specialist to join our Kansas City, KS team. This role is central to ensuring materials are sourced, delivered, and managed efficiently to support customer needs and operational goals.

- This role requires someone who can not only manage purchase orders and coordinate with suppliers, but also collaborate across departments, anticipate challenges, and find solutions that balance cost, timing, and quality. We need someone who thrives with clear goals but can navigate the day-to-day complexities of supply chain work with confidence, creativity, and ownership.
- Key Tasks
- Manage purchasing activities, including creating and tracking purchase orders and ensuring timely delivery of materials
- Coordinate with suppliers, freight partners, and internal teams to resolve issues related to delivery, quality, or cost
- Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with Operations to balance supply with demand
- Support forecasting and replenishment efforts by providing accurate, timely data and insights
- Maintain accurate supplier and order records in Microsoft Dynamics 365 (ERP system)
- Work closely with Sales and Operations to ensure customer orders are fulfilled on time and in full
- Identify opportunities to streamline procurement and logistics processes
- Assist with vendor performance tracking and contribute to supplier relationship management
- Requirements
- Experience in supply chain, procurement, logistics, or related field (manufacturing/distribution environment preferred)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel; familiarity with Dynamics 365 or another ERP system is a plus
- Ability to build strong working relationships with both internal colleagues and external suppliers
- Excellent documentation habits and follow-through
- Willingness to learn, adapt, and take initiative in improving processes
