Job Summary We are hiring an experienced Squarespace developer/designer to completely rebuild our simple website. The goal is to create an elegant, minimalistic site that looks consistently professional on both mobile and desktop (addressing our current issue where it only performs well on desktop). The site will serve primarily as a platform for publishing informative blog posts across multiple industries, with intuitive navigation linking to external websites for our core services. Key Responsibilities Rebuild the Website on Squarespace: Start from our existing simple Squarespace site and redesign it to be minimal and sleek, ensuring responsive design that adapts seamlessly to mobile and desktop views. Header and Navigation Setup: Place our mini circular tree logo in the top left corner. Implement a clean menu bar across the top with the following tabs: "Home", "Real Estate", "Asset Management", "Title Insurance", "Legal Services", and "Resources". Configure all tabs (except "Legal Services" temporarily) as external links to different websites, rather than internal pages. For "Legal Services", create a temporary internal page displaying the message: "Coming Soon. We can not provide you any legal services, advice, or aid at this time." Home Page Design: Design an elegant and simple layout featuring the company name "Birch Haven" in a clean, impressive font. Include the slogan "One Firm, Infinite Possibilities" prominently below the name. Add a running carousel showcasing featured blog posts to highlight recent content. Incorporate a testimonials carousel section to display client feedback dynamically.
