About

We are seeking a freelance spreadsheet expert to recreate and customize a set of four existing electrical and low-voltage quote documents into a neat, tidy, and fully functional digital template. The goal is to create a professional, writable, and reusable template that automatically handles all necessary calculations. The template must be developed in either Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, or Apple Numbers. Deliverables: 1. Four Linked Sheets/Tabs: Recreate the content and structure of the following four sheets: • Price Sheet Summary (Quote/Cover Sheet): Must summarize the project scope and automatically calculate the final total bid. • Electrical Count Sheet: A comprehensive list of electrical components (switches, outlets, lights, appliances, etc.) where quantities can be entered for each project. • Low Voltage Count Sheet: A comprehensive list of low-voltage components (data, TV, security, audio, etc.). • Low Volt Locations Grid: A matrix for tracking components by room/location. 2. Automatic Calculation Functionality: • The template must include formulas to automatically calculate line totals, subtotals (e.g., Basic LV Subtotal, Audio Rough Subtotal), and a grand Total Bid on the summary sheet. • Formulas must include calculations like the Material Surcharge (based on a given rate times Square Footage). • The total from the count sheets must link directly to the relevant line on the Price Sheet Summary. 3. Custom Branding: • Replace the existing "Provident Electric" logo and company information with our provided company logo and contact details across all sheets. 4. Clean & Writable Design: • The finished product must be clean, professional, and easy to read. • All quantity and pricing cells intended for user input must be clear and easily writable/editable. Ideal Candidate: • Proven experience creating complex, linked spreadsheets (Excel/Google Sheets preferred). • Strong attention to detail for accurately transferring line-item lists. • Ability to create logical, reliable, and error-free formulas.
