Description: We are developing a next-generation hydration beverage for athletes that outperforms current sports drinks (Gatorade, BodyArmor, Liquid IV, etc.). Our goal is a science-backed formula with optimized electrolytes, rapid absorption, and clean taste. We need an experienced food/beverage formulator with a strong background in: • Electrolyte beverage formulation (sodium, potassium, magnesium, calcium). • Taste optimization and flavor masking at high sodium levels. • Shelf-stability in aluminum cans and resealable bottles. • Experience with zero sugar and light-carb performance versions. Deliverables: 1. Prototype formula ( – zero sugar and carb + electrolytes). 2. Ingredient sourcing recommendations (cost-efficient, high quality). 3. Documentation ready for handoff to manufacturing partner. Nice-to-have: • Experience with sports nutrition or hydration-focused products. • Familiarity with osmolality testing and beverage stability. • Contacts in co-packing / beverage manufacturing.
