Location: Remote within Colombia Company: International Solar & Energy Solutions Manufacturer Industry: Hybrid Solar Inverters · LiFePO₄ Batteries · Off-Grid / Backup Systems About Us We are an international manufacturer of home and small-commercial energy solutions, specializing in hybrid solar inverters, LiFePO₄ battery systems, and complete off-grid/backup kits. Our products are engineered for high performance in Latin American environments, and we are currently expanding our presence across Colombia. To support this growth, we are seeking a Solar Sales Representative / Solar Product Consultant with strong knowledge of the Colombian solar and backup-power market. Role Overview As our representative in Colombia, you will help us build the local market by identifying distributors, installers, integrators, and retail partners. You will serve as both a commercial contact and a product advisor—helping clients understand system configurations, performance, pricing, and technical suitability. This role is ideal for someone entrepreneurial, self-driven, and deeply familiar with the solar/energy sector in Colombia. Key Responsibilities Market Development Identify and reach out to distributors, installers, EPCs, hardware retailers, and solar integrators. Map key regions and sectors where hybrid inverters and batteries are in high demand. Gather market intelligence on pricing, competitors, and customer needs. Sales & Client Management Conduct WhatsApp/email outreach, product introductions, and follow-up communication. Present product solutions and guide clients on inverter–battery pairing and system design basics. Build strong long-term relationships and act as the local point of contact. Technical & Product Support (Basic) Understand core specifications of hybrid inverters, batteries, and off-grid systems. Explain product advantages, warranty terms, and installation considerations to clients. Communicate client feedback to the headquarters team. Reporting Submit weekly activity reports: leads, opportunities, pricing feedback, and market trends. Create clear summaries after each client meeting/call. Requirements Based in Colombia with strong understanding of the local solar / energy market. Experience in solar sales, electrical systems, energy storage, or related fields. Ability to explain technical products in simple, practical language. Strong communication skills (WhatsApp, phone, written). Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently.
