We’re seeking a creative, detail-oriented, and well-rounded **Social Media & Digital Content Specialist** to elevate our digital presence, capture the OAC experience, and tell the story of Seattle’s premier fitness club through high-quality content and authentic engagement. --- ## **Role Overview** The **Social Media & Digital Content Specialist** will serve as the visual storyteller and digital voice of Olympic Athletic Club. This person will create and manage engaging photo, video, and written content across all digital platforms, ensuring the OAC brand is represented with consistency, creativity, and sophistication. They’ll play a hands-on role in showcasing our facilities, trainers, instructors, programs, and members — promoting everything from fitness classes and aquatics to social events and seasonal campaigns. The role involves collaborating directly with department heads and maintaining an active presence in the club to capture the energy and community that make OAC unique. --- ## **Key Responsibilities** ### **Content Creation & Photography** * Capture high-quality photos and videos of club activities, group fitness classes, personal training sessions, aquatics programs, and special events. * Regularly photograph and take professional **headshots of all personal trainers and group fitness instructors**, maintaining an updated library for the website, social media, and internal promotions. * Edit and produce short-form video content, Reels, and highlight clips optimized for engagement and storytelling. * Build and maintain a well-organized digital content archive for ongoing marketing use. * Ensure all visuals reflect OAC’s upscale, modern aesthetic and community-focused tone. ### **Social Media Management** * Plan, schedule, and publish consistent, engaging content across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and other relevant platforms. * Monitor engagement, respond to comments and direct messages in a timely and professional manner, and help foster a sense of community online. * Track performance metrics and analytics to guide content strategy and report outcomes. * Maintain a dynamic weekly content calendar promoting club events, classes, and programs. * Apply best practices for hashtags, captions, subtitles, and formatting to maximize visibility and reach. ### **Digital Marketing & Reputation** * Monitor and track online reviews and discussions across **Google, Yelp, Reddit, and other community platforms**, summarizing insights and providing regular reports to the General Manager. * Support creative campaigns that increase member engagement and attract non-members. * Collaborate on digital advertising or email marketing efforts when applicable. ### **Website & Brand Support** * Update the club’s website (WordPress or similar CMS) with new photos, announcements, and staff profiles. * Ensure trainer and instructor profiles remain accurate, visually consistent, and aligned with brand standards. * Collaborate with management on digital campaigns tied to sales, promotions, and events. ### **Cross-Department Collaboration** * Work closely with **Group Fitness, Personal Training, and Aquatics Managers** to spotlight programs, trainers, and classes. * Partner with **Events and Member Services teams** to promote member activities, open houses, and social gatherings. * Attend and document club events, capturing authentic, candid moments that bring OAC’s culture to life. --- ## **Qualifications** * Proven experience in **social media management, photography, and video editing** (portfolio required). * Deep understanding of **platform trends, engagement algorithms, and analytics**. * Strong writing and storytelling skills with an eye for accuracy and detail. * Basic proficiency with **WordPress or other website management tools**. * Highly organized and capable of balancing multiple creative priorities. * Confident collaborating with various departments and personalities. --- ## **Bonus Skills** * Graphic design (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.). * Experience in fitness, wellness, lifestyle, or hospitality industries. * Knowledge of SEO and paid social media advertising (Google, Meta). * Familiarity with influencer partnerships or content collaborations. --- ## **What We’re Looking For** We’re looking for a **well-rounded, adaptive creative** who can balance artistic storytelling with strategic communication.
