POSITION SUMMARY
This position will be on a Hybrid schedule with 2 days per week in the NYC office.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create and publish original, platform-native content for X, Facebook, Threads, YouTube Shorts, Instagram, and TikTok, tailored to each channel’s audience and format.
- Manage and maintain social programming calendars for Sony brand.
- Assist in producing POVs on new & emerging social channels.
- Monitor and analyze content performance, providing insights to optimize future strategies.
- Identify trending content opportunities and share with broader audience as appropriate.
- Be on the pulse of social conversation & find opportunities to make social media channels stand out.
- Act as community manager for social channels by engaging community.
- Moderate user-generated content in-line with the moderation policy as well as any active marketing campaigns.
- Build relationships with other Sony operating companies colleagues.
- Monitor effective benchmarks for measuring the growth of the communities, and analyze, review, and report on effectiveness of new campaigns and initiatives.
- Maintain a strong understanding of all things Sony—including Sony Pictures, PlayStation, Sony Pictures Television, Sony Electronics, Crunchyroll, and Sony Music—to help shape relevant and impactful content.
- Honesty, trustworthiness and ethical conduct are material requirements for the responsibilities outlined above
QUALIFICATIONS FOR POSITION
- Minimum 2+ years of digital marketing or social media experience at a creative agency or in-house brand. Undergraduate degree required.
- Proficiency in creating short-form video content.
- Working knowledge of social network tools, such as Sprout, Monday.com, etc.
- Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Strong experience in creative, marketing, and/or editorial writing.
- Competent in managing social media platforms, understanding analytics, and applying learnings.
- Direct experience and understanding of the landscape of social media platforms and their respective communities.
- Project management, time management, and organizational skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Expertise in Microsoft Office Products, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Knowledgeable of, or curious to learn about, the Sony brand and its group companies, including PlayStation, Sony Pictures, Sony Music, and Sony Electronics.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.

The anticipated annual base salary for this position is $70,000 to $80,000. In addition to the annual base salary, this role has an annual bonus target of 5%. This range does not include any other compensation components or other benefits that an individual may be eligible for. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
