Eastwell Publishing is seeking a skilled social media and advertising marketer to lead the digital launch campaign for the upcoming urban fiction novel, Blood and Betrayal by RJ Caldwell, the first installment in The Redd Chronicles series. This role involves creating and executing a strategic multi-platform marketing plan that builds visibility, engagement, and sales across TikTok, Instagram, X (Twitter), and YouTube, with a focus on urban, LGBTQ+, and street-lit audiences. The ideal candidate has experience running ad campaigns, influencer collaborations, and book launch strategies—preferably within the publishing or entertainment space. ⸻ Responsibilities: • Develop and execute a social media marketing plan to promote the novel before, during, and after launch (target release date: December 15, 2025) • Create and manage paid ad campaigns on TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and Amazon Ads • Build and grow the book’s presence through organic content creation (short-form video, carousel posts, teasers, quotes, etc.) • Collaborate with book influencers, reviewers, and YouTubers for ARC promotions and cross-platform visibility • Track engagement metrics and provide weekly performance reports with insights and next-step recommendations • Develop and manage a launch countdown campaign to boost pre-orders and release week momentum ⸻ Requirements: • Proven experience marketing fiction books, music, or entertainment brands • Strong understanding of urban and LGBTQ+ audiences • Expertise in social media advertising (Meta Ads, TikTok Ads, Amazon Ads) • Creative copywriting and visual storytelling skills • Ability to generate engagement organically and through influencer outreach • Strong communication and ability to collaborate with authors and designers ⸻ Deliverables: • 30-day pre-launch and 30-day post-launch marketing calendar • 10–15 social media content drafts (captions + creative direction) • Ad campaign setup and management (with performance tracking) • List of influencer outreach targets and secured collaborations • Weekly progress and engagement reports ⸻ Preferred (Not Required): • Experience working with Amazon KDP or book launch campaigns • Familiarity with Mailchimp, Canva, or Buffer/Later for scheduling • Understanding of ARC distribution, Goodreads, and BookTok trends ⸻ About the Project: Blood and Betrayal is an urban fiction novel that blends romance, betrayal, and power in a gritty, fast-paced story set against the backdrop of love and crime.
