A Day in the Life as a Site Coordinator

  • As a Site Coordinator, you will lead the Area Resource Center team. This position works closely with the Operations Manager to coordinate the overall management and operation of the center. This will include managing communications from the Director and agency leadership, delegating tasks, training, and coaching your team. You will also intake client applications for the Fuel and Electric assistance programs and assist clients with the food pantry.

Your day will involve

  • Serving as the main contact for the assigned Area Resource Center and all programs and projects operating from the center.
  • Performing client intake and outreach for CAPBM programs.
  • Verifying and documenting client information as required by each program.
  • Assisting with the operation of the food pantry, including organizing, stocking, inventorying, and distributing food.
  • Maintaining professional boundaries with all current, past, and prospective clients, and maintaining the confidentiality of clients and staff per CAPBM policy.
  • Managing general office functions, including filing, cleaning, and other duties.
  • Your role will directly contribute to a positive participant experience and smooth operation of the Area Resource Center.
  • Requirements

Qualifications to Be a Site Coordinator

To excel in this role, you’ll need

  • Education: Associate’s Degree in Human Services, Business Administration or related field. Education requirement may be substituted with other related education and additional human services experience; to be determined by Director of Energy & Area Resource Centers.
  • Experience: Two years of prior experience in a human/social services position, including prior supervisory experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • A strong desire to assist others in helping themselves is essential.
  • Successful completion of criminal record check is required. Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license are required, as some travel within the community may be necessary.
