We are hiring a highly specialized SIP / OpenSIPS / SBC Engineer to build and deploy our internal SIP edge. This role accelerates our independence from third-party SIP providers and enables native support for multiple PBXs across SkipHold and ActiveConnect. Design, deploy, and maintain a two-node OpenSIPS SBC/Proxy acting as the SIP edge between Telzino/Vapi and PBXs including NetSapiens, FreePBX, Asterisk, and 3CX. Responsibilities -Build a production-ready OpenSIPS cluster (signaling first). -Configure SIP trunks for: Platform→ PBXs (NetSapiens priority) Platform→ AI engines (Vapi) -Configure OpenSIPS modules: TLS/mTLS, topology hiding, -registrar/usrloc, dispatcher, dialog, rate limiting. -Build multi-tenant SIP routing logic. -Implement fallback logic (AI → human). -Add HOMER/HEP for analytics, tracing, and debugging. -Provide complete documentation and internal training. -Document everything and guide the engineering team. Required Experience / Requirements -3+ years working with OpenSIPS or Kamailio. -Experience with SIP trunking, NAT, TLS, SBC concepts. -Experience integrating with PBXs (NetSapiens, Asterisk, FreePBX, 3CX). -Familiarity with SIP routing, DID/extension mapping, and multi-tenant logic.
