We are RTG Scoops, a 40+ year-old U.S. retailer and manufacturer of aluminum and stainless steel beach and sand scoops as well as a retailer of all Metal detecting equipment and treasure hunting hobby accessories. We’re relaunching our online presence and need an experienced ecommerce professional to migrate our existing website (rtgstore.com) to Shopify, integrate inventory, and set up multi-channel sales (Amazon + Shopify POS). Scope of Work: Migrate existing site content/products from legacy site → Shopify Set up Shopify store theme (branded, mobile-optimized) Create product categories, variants, and structured spec sheets Configure payment gateways, taxes (Florida), and shipping profiles (including oversized products like handles) Implement 301 redirects + SEO migration from old site Integrate with Amazon Seller Central via Marketplace Connect Set up Shopify POS for trade shows (inventory sync + hardware config) Configure inventory management across all sales channels Add essential marketing tools: email flows (welcome, abandoned cart), reviews, and analytics (GA4, Search Console) Requirements: Proven experience with Shopify builds & migrations Strong knowledge of Amazon Seller Central + Marketplace Connect Experience setting up Shopify POS for in-person/trade show sales Ability to handle inventory syncing across channels (Shopify, Amazon, POS) SEO + redirect mapping knowledge to preserve rankings Portfolio of past Shopify/Amazon projects (preferably in retail/manufacturing) Deliverables: Fully functioning Shopify store on rtgstore.com (secure, SSL-enabled) Products synced across Shopify, Amazon, and POS POS hardware configured and tested for trade shows SEO migration checklist completed (redirects, sitemap, indexing) 3–4 weeks post-launch support for troubleshooting
