We are a small but fast-growing worldwide ecommerce brand (US, Canada, UK, Australia, EU), and we’re looking for a hands-on Shopify Developer & CRO/SEO Specialist to become our long-term in-house expert. This is not an agency job — we want ONE individual only. This role replaces our current website vendors and becomes the owner of everything related to: Shopify development CRO & UX optimization SEO & organic traffic Website speed/performance AI search discoverability And any other related roles This is a full-time contractor position with long-term growth into a core internal role. What You’ll Do Manage and optimize all Shopify stores (US, CA, AU, UK, EU) Improve conversion rates through CRO tests & UX updates Handle technical SEO, schema, indexing, speed, structure Deploy landing pages, new products, promotions, and blogs Ensure multi-store consistency with regional customizations Improve AI search visibility (ChatGPT, SGE, Perplexity) Coordinate weekly with C-Level, marketing, email, and CS teams Produce a 6-month Shopify/CRO/SEO roadmap by Day 45 Own full deployment and ongoing optimization from Day 46 onward First 45 Days Day 1–30: Full audit of all sites + findings report Day 31–45: Build & present 6-month plan (Shopify/CRO/SEO) Day 46+: Full deployment + ongoing performance optimization Success is measured by results — not hours. (Conversion rate, speed, SEO performance, organic traffic, uptime, and flawless execution.) Requirements Expert in Shopify (Online Store 2.0, Liquid, JS, HTML, CSS) Proven CRO experience (A/B tests, UX improvements, funnels) Strong technical SEO background Great communicator — English fluency required Experience with GA4, GTM, Hotjar/Clarity Hands-on executor (not just strategy) Comfortable working independently No agencies — individual only Must join weekly video calls Quarterly US travel required (paid) Long-term availability Nice-to-Have Experience with AI search/schema Multi-store Shopify experience Conversion copy familiarity Strong analytics mindset Please provide examples of; 1. Portfolio of Shopify stores you personally built/optimized with proof. 2. CRO or SEO improvements you’ve delivered 3. A short intro video/audio (English fluency check) 4.
