Job Title: Ecommerce Virtual Assistant (Shopify, Customer Service, Returns, After-Sales Support) – Part-Time (1–2 Hours/Day) About the Role We are a fast-growing ecommerce brand looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Virtual Assistant to help manage our day-to-day customer service and after-sale operations. You will handle communication with customers, prepare after-sale cases, assist with returns and refunds, update internal sheets, and coordinate with our supplier for replacements (with supervision). This is an ongoing, long-term position for the right person. Hours are light (1–2 hours per day), but consistency and accuracy are extremely important. Responsibilities You will help with daily operational tasks, including: Customer Service Responding to customer emails using templates Handling tracking issues, delivery problems, and order questions Providing clear instructions for returns or replacements Maintaining a polite, professional tone at all times After-Sale Support Updating our after-sale issues sheet (Google Sheets) Organizing customer photos/videos when items arrive damaged or faulty Preparing clean after-sale cases to send to our supplier Communicating in a WhatsApp group with our supplier for replacements Following escalation rules (asking me before approving certain cases) Shopify Support Tagging and updating orders Adding notes to orders Drafting refunds (approval required) Re-sending order emails or tracking updates Correcting customer information if needed Daily Workflow Clear the inbox twice per day (morning + evening) Keep the after-sale sheet updated Send me a short daily summary of what was completed Requirements Must-Have Skills & Experience: Strong English communication (written) Experience with Shopify customer service (REQUIRED) Experience handling returns, refunds, and order issues Great attention to detail Fast learner and follows SOPs accurately Able to work independently but know when to ask questions Good with Google Sheets Comfortable using Gmail & WhatsApp Bonus Skills (not required but helpful): Experience with ecommerce or dropshipping Experience communicating with suppliers Familiarity with basic troubleshooting (e.g., product issues from customers) Hours 1–2 hours per day 6 days/week Must be able to clear inbox in the morning and evening (US time window is flexible) Payment $5–$7 per hour, depending on experience Paid weekly via Upwork or Wise To Apply Please answer ALL of the following: Briefly describe your experience with Shopify customer service.
